STUDENT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
The ENCORE Student Leadership Program is designed for those students who want to become leaders in their schools, homes, businesses, and communities. Through mentorship and training, students are given a gradually increasing level of responsibility, learning to exert a positive influence, maximize the success of others, and inspire others toward the achievement of a mutual goal. Students receive training in a variety of theatre disciplines, but will be assigned by the Artistic Director to a specific area of specialization for the year - such as Directing, Choreography, Stage Managing, Producing, Costumes, Sets, etc.
Our Student Leaders are an integral part of our programs here at ENCORE. They assist with everything from theater games to blocking, vocals to choreography. You can find them behind the scenes and working in the lobby, building relationships with each and every student in our programs. Student Leaders receive advanced training in theatre disciplines and are given the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they are learning beyond ENCORE.
