Dear Shrek Cast and Families,
We are finally here! Tech Week is upon us and it will be a very busy week, so please read below for some very important information.
First, we have a MANDATORY meeting at 2pm Sunday July 22 for the cast and at least 1 parent of everyone under the age of 18.
Upcoming Dates to Remember
Sunday, July 22 9am -2pm Load In
Sunday, July 22 2:00pm - All-cast/Parent Meeting
Sunday, July 29 6:30 pm ( approx) - Load Out
** Remember every cast member must participate in all of load in or load out after strike.**

LOYALTY DISCOUNT OPTIONS!!
We always offer a Loyalty discount for current families who enroll in the next show before the current show ends, and this is no exception!! However, this year we have 2 options! If you register for any of our Fall shows ( The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, or Lion King Jr) before Sunday July 1 at 11:59pm you can qualify for ONE of the following.
OPTION 1. Enroll now and pay a $100 non-refundable deposit and you will receive $75 Loyalty Discount be applied to the remaining tuition which is due at the end of August. You must send an email [email protected] to exercise this option.
OPTION 2 - If you are one of the first 15 to enroll and pay in full for The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, or Lion King Jr (or first one of the first 5 for A Series of Unfortunate Events and Scrooge) you can instead choose our Audition Workshop with both Encore Creative team AND some Industry professionals to help you prepare for your auditions in the fall. (Normally valued at $150!) This workshop will be held in July to give you plenty of time to prepare! You can take advantage of this option by enrolling directly here.

DVDs
We will be having a professional videographer document the show, and will be taking orders for the DVD beginning at the meeting on Sunday. DVDs are $35 each and take about a month to arrive. If you have a credit card on file, we will charge it automatically. If not, you MUST bring a check or call the office with a credit card number. NO CASH accepted!

Remember to Bring
- Please pack food and water for yourself as needed, leaving during rehearsal is not allowed. Dry, non-staining snacks are great to keep on hand during long rehearsals.
- Neutral colored under clothing ( tank top and shorts) to go under your costume for quick changes
- Rubbermaid Container with a lid to put all of your stuff in so it doesn't get lost in the dressing room

If you can sew we are looking for sewing help for our Hunchback costumes and it would count as a pre-tech job towards your Shrek volunteering commitment, too!! Please send an email to [email protected] if you are interested.

There are several people who were at rehearsal who did not get measured by our Costumer, Tamara last night. There were also several Cast Members who added an extra conflict. She starts a new job on Monday and needs to get measurements of as much of the cast as possible before then. She will be at “Hunchback” rehearsal at ENCORE Studios this Saturday (May 5th) from 2-6pm. Please go and get measured by her if you missed rehearsal or if you did not go into the other room last night to get measured. Please reply to this email and let us know what time you can be there on Saturday.

This is Susan's third Encore production. Some of her favorite past roles include Sally (Charlie Brown) and Orphan (Oliver). Susan sings with the San Pedro Choir and plays on her school soccer team. In her spare time she loves to paint and jump rope. She hopes you enjoy the show!

*** Please note multiple people have checked this cast list, but we are preparing it as fast as possible to get it to you and given the complexity an error could have occurred. We have a $75 referral credit for each BRAND NEW family you bring to ENCORE, that registers for a show. Even though the cast list is out, the ensemble still has openings and there will be small parts, lines, and moments that will be handed out throughout the show.

- A PENCIL (NOT a pen) and a highlighter
- A water bottle with plenty of water/ snack if you would like
- Clothing you can move comfortably in (girls, if you wear a dress or skirt, please wear shorts under it.
- CLOSED-TOED shoes!! (NO sandals or flip flops! Jazz shoes are great, but tennis shoes will work.)

- Please be sure to Sign In and Out at every Rehearsal!
- Cast members under the age of 13 MUST be signed in and out by an Adult!
- Now is the time to update your contact information, and if you have a child who now has a phone number or email and you would like them to receive updates you can add that as well
