Scene Study with Jared and Jacob
Ages 13-Adult This is a class for those of you who which to focus solely on acting and acting technique. Within this class we will dive straight into acting technique and we will talk about character, and physicality, and objectives. In class we will be working on 2-3 scenes and we will cover Cold Reads and Improv. When the class concludes you should have 2-3 scenes that will be recorded for posterity and so you can see your improvements and a couple monologues that will be fully worked and you can walk into an audition room with. Things that you should come prepared to first class with: A memorized and thought out monologue from Theater, television, or film. We will be diving really deep into the world of acting so make sure you bring along yourself and your imaginations! *if you are younger than 13 you may send an email to admin@encoresouthbay.org and we will see if we can accommodate!
