Staring January 26 everything related to Little Mermaid will take place at The Warner Grand Theatre, 478 W. 6th St. San Pedro Ca 90731

~ This is our best estimate, we will be trying very hard to follow the schedule but please know there is a lot that happens during tech week, sometimes presenting unexpected challenges, and we appreciate your flexibility.
~ This is very detailed, we will go over it with you at the mandatory cast/ 1 guardian/cast member under 18 meeting on Tuesday Jan 28 at 4pm, but please read it in case you have any questions you want to ask at that time.
~We will talk about when younger children can go home during the cast/parent meeting on Tuesday Jan 28 at 4p.

Mary Jones (Ensemble) This is Mary's third ENCORE production. Some of her favorite past roles include Adelaide (Guys & Dolls) and Ozian (The Wizard of Oz). Mary sings with the San Pedro Choir and plays lacrosse and soccer. In her spare time she loves to paint and read. She hopes you enjoy the show

The Little Mermaid: San Pedro Holiday Parade
Sunday, December 1, Approx 12-3p in Downtown San PedroWe understand some cast members may have prior commitments, but we are asking everyone to do everything they can to be there!! Participation in this parade is mandatory, we need everybody there to fill up our spot!!!
Where
Spots 40 and 41
Line up at 18th St. and Pacific Ave

When
Sunday, December 1, Meet at 12pm
Walking promptly from 1 to 3pm
Parade is scheduled to end at 3pm but we will likely be done earlier so please plan to pick up your performers at 2:00pm
Parking
Parking will be tough in the area with the parade, plan to carpool if possible or allow at least 15 minutes to park and walk to the lineup location.
Wear
** Please check the weather and dress appropriately**
Your Encore Mermaid Tshirt and Black Pants, or any bright colored clothing/ bright blues for children and adults.
Parents
We would LOVE to have you join us as a Sea Creature for the day! You are welcome to wear all black or fun under the sea colors, and enjoy walking the parade with your children. You are not required to stay but if some of you are available or willing your presence is much appreciated!!
We will need a couple volunteers to hand out Discount Ticket Vouchers to the crowds as well, to help promote your show!
Bring your friends!!
If you have any friends who would like to join you on the route please bring them to walk with our group we would love to have them! Please email us if you can bring extra sea creatures to join the fun, so we know how many people to expect.

Encore is in the process of finding a new home!! While we are so excited to find a new space to continue our programs it is still in the works.
Going forward Little Mermaid Rehearsals on Thursdays and Tuesdays are going to be at the Warner Grand Theatre ( 478 W. 6th St San Pedro 90731) starting this coming Thursday Oct. 24th.
There are a few days that we will be using the San Pedro Ballet (1231 S. Pacific Ave. San Pedro 90731) on December 10, 12, and 19, when they are in the Warner Grand performing The Nutcracker.
We will have an updated newsletter tomorrow, but we wanted to ensure you knew where rehearsals would be going forward as soon as possible.

Congratulations to the cast!!! The cast list is attached, and so is the schedule for October and November. Everyone showed a great deal of talent at auditions and we cannot wait to work on the show with all of you!!
*** Please note multiple people have checked this cast list for accuracy and to make sure everyone is listed, but sometimes mistakes happen even then! If you see a problem, we apologize, please just let us know and we will get it fixed as soon as possible.
This newsletter has a tremendous amount of information, and we apologize but there is no other way to communicate it! Please read it carefully and save it for future reference!

Schedule
The schedule for all of October and November is attached. You will see that this is a very different format from what we have sent before. It lists who is called when, as well as what we will be working on each day. You may be called at different times each week, so please pay very close attention!
We will send the following month's schedule by the middle of each month. We will NOT be posting the schedule every week as we have done in the past unless there are changes (which we do not anticipate happening very often). You will be responsible to know this information and keep track of when you are called each week. Print it out and put it someplace safe!
We also want to give you a very early heads up about a schedule issue that will happen in January. We will be calling the entire cast on Wednesdays Jan. 14 & 22 from 6-9pm. We will also be calling the entire cast for the full rehearsal time on Thursdays, Jan. 15 & 23 from 4:30-9:30pm. There will be no Tuesday rehearsals in January until Tech Week.

Conflicts, illnesses, or tardiness
Please remember that you are NOT allowed to add ANY conflicts now that the show is cast, without express permission in advance from the director. There is a strong possibility that requests will not be granted. To request a conflict, please email as far in advance as possible to your Stage Manager, Jacob Nye [email protected].
If you are ill or running late, please contact the stage manager via text only to: Jacob Nye 424-442-0421.

WHAT TO BRING to EVERY REHEARSAL
- Your Script (you will receive it at the first rehearsal, please put your name in it right away, script replacements cost $10)
- A PENCIL (NOT a pen) and a highlighter
- A water bottle with plenty of water and snack ( We do have a vending machine on site, with water and snacks, that accepts credit cards and cash.) We do not have a water fountain.
- Clothing you can move comfortably in (girls, if you wear a dress or skirt, please wear shorts under it.
- CLOSED-TOED shoes!! (NO sandals or flip flops or cleats or crocs!! Jazz shoes are great, tennis shoes will work.)
