Join Encore Theatre Group for a spectacular live performance of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center! In this production, students will see their peers on stage as the story is brought to life with vibrant lighting, creative themes, and extraordinary storytelling. Each performance features performers of all ages, full costumes, professional sound, lighting, and sets!
Enter the world of "Charlie & The Chocolate Factory," based on the famous Novel by Roald Dahl where Willy Wonka’s whimsical chocolate factory springs to life on stage in a delightful, imaginative production! This musical brings Dahl's beloved story to audiences with engaging performances, creative staging, and memorable songs that are perfect for students of all ages.
Join Charlie Bucket, a kind-hearted boy with big dreams, as he discovers a golden ticket granting him entry to Willy Wonka's mysterious factory. Along with four other lucky children, Charlie experiences a magical adventure filled with surprises, valuable life lessons, and plenty of chocolate!
This production is not just entertaining but teaches important lessons about teamwork, humility, and the value of kindness. The fun and inspiring story encourages students to dream boldly, celebrate their unique qualities, and cherish family and friends.

Charlie & The Chocolate Factory will be about 2.5 hours including an educational intermission.
A study guide will be emailed to participating teachers that includes pre & post show activities that can be done with students aligned with appropriate VAPA and CA State standards.
Performances - Thursday January 9 10:30 and Friday January 10 10:30a

Arrive at 9:30a and no later than 10a
Transportation to be provided by schools/groups - For this production bus parking is available directly in front of the theatre.
Dismissed to return to busses immediately after performance
Tickets : $10/person
Minimum group size 15 (Including Students and Chaperones) All attendees must have a ticket
Food will not be provided, students/schools may bring a snack/water but all food must be stored in the lobby for the duration of the performance.
