About The Show
Disney's Winnie the Pooh KIDS is a delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. Featuring favorite songs from the film, as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun.
Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship and, of course... sharing snacks. - MTI Shows

About the Young Players Series...
The Young Players Series is specifically designed to provide age appropriate opportunities for our youngest performers. These junior shows have much shorter run times (usually between 35 to 90 minutes) and shorter rehearsal periods for a more palatable and enjoyable experience for young children. Great care is taken in crafting an educational theatre experience that integrates basic performance training with the development of essential social and interpersonal skills. At this formative age, it is important that children learn how to work together, problem solve, develop an awareness of others, continue to refine their motor and speaking skills, and of course, play!
Our Creative Team members bring with them substantial experiences in educational theatre and a genuine love for working with young performers. These Teacher-Artists understand how to reach young children and use a very involved approach to nurture and guide them towards achieving their personal best. Our goal is to create an environment where each child feels safe to learn, grow, risk, and have fun while building friendships and learning about themselves, others, and theatre.
