Descendants Postponement Plea

Due to challenges caused by the most recent surge in COVID-19, Encore's production of Disney's Descendants was unable to go up during its original engagement at the beginning of January. It has been rescheduled to the first week of February as we keep the health and safety of our cast, crew, audiences, and community members at the top of our priorities.

We need your help so that Encore is able to remain around to provide an artistic outlet for many folks in the community, which is even more vital during these troubled and challenging times.

The cast and crew cannot wait to bring you this joyful and exuberant production! It is a feel-good musical, perfect for a return to live theatre!

What we Need

The postponement of Disney's Descendants will cost Encore approximately $30,000 to cover additional venue time, staff labor hours, transport costs of materials, equipment rentals, and more.

This has left Encore with the debilitating challenge of finding ways to recover from this $30,000 loss.
